We are currently recruiting for Cooks to work within care homes in Perth and surrounding areas.

As a cook, we would expect that you will be;
· Preparing, cooking and serving food
· Ensuring that food is presented well and looks appetising.
· Managing Food Health and Safety requirements, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and up to date.
· A team player, able to work as part of a team whilst also having the ability to work on your own initiative.
· Keeping the kitchen and all work areas clean and tidy
We’d also expect that you will hold a food hygiene certificate and have a good understanding of your role in the prevention and control of infection and promoting good health and safety practices.

Given the nature of this role, successful applicants must register with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG)
