ASA Recruitment are working with a popular Scottish university to recruit an IT Helpdesk Operator. This on-site role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Run the IT Helpdesk, diagnosing and resolving routine technical problems and making appropriate referrals to other 1st and 2nd line IT teams
• Deliver an efficient, responsive IT Helpdesk service via an online call management system, including remote support and diagnosis, email, telephone and walk-in services
• Monitor and take responsibility for IT resources following set ordering procedures to ensure that IT purchase and delivery processes run smoothly
• Change and development projects such as supporting staff with hybrid learning and remote desktop environments

So, what are we looking for?

• Proven experience in an IT support/helpdesk role
• Ability to solve computing issues for all levels of stakeholders
• Strong customer service skills
