Experienced in public sector Procurement?

ASA Recruitment are working with a large Scottish education agency to recruit an experienced Procurement Officer. This hybrid role is suitable for candidates within travelling distance of either Glasgow, Livingston or Dundee.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Undertake all aspects of the full end to end public procurement process for medium and high value procurements, following procurement policy and procedures and applying current legislation
• Support colleagues with lower value requirements by conveying the established policy and guidance on the invitation the quote process and provide advice on using the prepared templates for them to use
• Give advice to support understanding of technical and commercial aspects of the procurement process
• Undertake general administration for the process and any other tasks to support the Procurement and Grants Lead

So, what are we looking for?

• Demonstrable experience in public sector procurement
• Ability and knowledge to apply current legislation
• Familiar with the Scottish Model of Procurement
• Experience of running WTO GPA High Value procurement processes
