Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking to take on a rare permanent opportunity with a large scale essential service provider in the public sector?

ASA are currently looking to recruit an Analyst Finance Manager

This permanent hybrid working opportunity would be perfect for an individual looking to take the lead in a key national programme of work within a fast-moving environment working with a huge range of interesting partner organisations.

So… What does the role look like?

• Working closely with first class Management information systems and an embedded analysis team you’ll have the opportunity to effect change for our client across multiple internal workstreams and much further afield within the public sector.
• You’ll constantly play a key role in identifying and implementing service improvements.
• Joining an experienced management accountant team, you’ll bring your experience and unique skillset to work at pace in an ever-changing environment
• Providing future focused decision support, along with technical financial advice and reports to budget holders to enable them to effectively manage income and expenditure.

And what is our client looking for?

• CCAB Accountancy qualification (or recognised international equivalent)
• Significant experience of successfully managing a team
• Extensive history of delivering the management accounting function within an organisation; including reporting financial performance on a regular basis to senior management/external bodies
• A first-class ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of a wide range of accounting theories and concepts and a good working knowledge of complex areas such as VAT and Capital accounting rules
• Ability to communicate, interpret and present highly complex information to non-specialists
