ASA Recruitment are working with a client based in Edinburgh whose goal is to increase their revenue year on year. Hence why they are investing in a new Sales Manager to ensure their vision becomes a reality.

This is an exciting position to grow and lead your own team of hungry sales executives and create opportunities to support their development and skill set to be the best they can be.

What is the Role?

• You will work with business leaders to devise your sales strategy to achieve growth.
• Lead by example – your sales team need to see your own personal success of how you manage the full 360 lifecycle of generating new leads, pitching and converting clients as well maintaining the relationships you have made.
• Developing partnerships and key accounts.
• Empowering the sales team to individual and team success.
• Keep on top of the admin & ensure the CRM is populated with quality data.
• Keep things simple – they are not looking to re-invent the wheel. They are seeking someone who can learn the ropes quickly and apply that knowledge along with their previous experience to win new business and service it.

What will it take to be successful?

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales management, business development and closing deals.
• Self-motivated and well-organised
• Proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Big dose of curiosity to keep asking the right questions.
• That sales resilience that can deal with rejections and setbacks to overcome them in a positive way.
• Strong customer care skills
• The ability to think creatively and strategically.

This is a fast-paced environment, your outlook and personality should be able to drive the momentum on the sales floor with activity.
