Your Opportunity

You will be required to carry out the duties of a Joiner and to contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective service within the Building Services Department. You will be required to cover maintenance Joinery of Homeless Units within Ross & Cromarty

Responsibilities include

• To undertake craft duties as directed by the Maintenance Repairs/ Voids/Contracts Supervisor
• To comply with all Health and Safety and security procedures and guidelines
• All round joinery skills and general construction works
• To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably expected from time to time

Requirements

• Time Served Joiner, SVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent
• Capable of working on own or as a team member
• Self-confident and self-motivated
• Full driving licence
• Able to communicate effectively with both members of the public and colleagues

Hours of work

• 8.30am to 4.30pm – Monday to Thursday
• 8.30am to 4.00pm – Friday
