Are you an experienced and qualified Accountant?

ASA Recruitment are working with a large student funding agency to recruit a highly experienced Finance Business Partner. This full-time role sits Outside IR35 and is suitable for candidates who can work on-site in Edinburgh once a week.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Review and reconcile expenditure, including payment runs as they are processed
• Monthly reporting (including forecasting) and commentary on expenditure and anticipated accountancy adjustments
• Meeting with a wide range of stakeholders to report back on the position and forecasts for expenditure and accounting adjustments, including insightful analysis and ad hoc reporting
• Annual Accounts and Provisional Outturn production, including associated working papers and narrative disclosures, followed by audit responses

So, what are we looking for?

• Qualified accountant with a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAS etc)
• Experience of year end accounting and Financial Instruments
• Proven track record in a similar role
