Do you have a technical knowledge in road infrastructure? Are you looking for a temporary, part-time position for the summer?

We are working our client for an individual to provide technical solutions to infrastructure issues and to assist the Team Leader to manage the workload of technical staff.

Your role would require you to:

• Carry out and approve design, estimating and contract preparation
• Carry out site supervision and contract management
• Assist the Team Leader in financial control and monitoring of contracts
• Prepare reports and other communications
• Analyse and develop solutions to technical problems
• Answer technical queries and provide specialist technical advice

You will need to demonstrate an understanding of:

• One or more aspects of Civil, Structural, Road Maintenance, Transportation or Traffic Engineering, relevant to the work section
• Using computer systems
• Implementing site safety
• Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload for self and technical staff
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
