Do you have extensive Research experience?

ASA Recruitment are looking to source an experienced Research Manager to support a large Scottish public sector inquiry. This long term contract role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area, to work on a hybrid basis.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Be a part of the internal research and analysis team to plan and execute a series of report publications
• You will work closely with the engagement team to support the facilitation of in-person events, as well as the engagement feedback loop
• Supporting and participating in the listening project’s engagement and research activities, including travelling around Scotland
• Employ qualitative analysis tools, such as NVivo, to support the ongoing analysis and outputs of the listening project

So, what are we looking for?

• Extensive research experience from an academic or working background
• Extensive experience of applying a range of social research methods to address research questions
• Experience of critically evaluating data and other research evidence with high accuracy and perception to meet the needs of research users
• Substantial experience in planning and managing all stages of the research including research design, delivery, write up and dissemination
