ASA Recruitment are looking to source experienced Paralegals to support a large Scottish public sector inquiry. This long term contract role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area, to work on a hybrid basis.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Assisting solicitors and Counsel with consideration of evidence and preparing reports and documents for use by the solicitor and Counsel team
• Cross checking documents before publication and working through redactions
• Liaising with secretariat on operation of core participant applications, including updating guidance and dealing with correspondence
• Assisting with operation of funding protocol and applications, including supporting the Solicitor in assessing invoices and accounts

So, what are we looking for?

• Experience within a legal background
• Excellent attention to detail due to high volume of documents
• Ability to foresee risk and assist with strategic planning
• Legal qualification would be beneficial
