Are you an experienced Agile Enterprise Architect?

ASA are happy to be looking for a Domain/Enterprise Architect on behalf of our valued public sector client. Your expertise are needed to allow the organisation to meet their objectives within the Data Products domain.

This a hybrid role based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. It also sits outside IR35. If this applies to you, please call for additional information.

If you started in this role today you would be…

· Responsible for high-level architectural design covering the integration of corporate data into the data warehouse and ingestion of core Ordnance Survey reference data for use across the organisation.
· Creating an architectural roadmap for migrating the data warehouse to AWS.
· You would liaising with colleagues from various areas to identify technology solutions and prioritise and shape the domain roadmaps.
· Supporting development teams in the delivery a well -architected cohesive solution in line with organisational standards.
· Championing ideas that the team, and key stakeholders believe are appropriate and beneficial.

So, what are we looking for?

· Extensive knowledge of relational and non-relational databases including Postgres, MongoDb, Informix, Oracle
· Experience in the design and implementation of data warehouse
· GeoSpatial data models and data sets PostGIS
· Python
· Designing, gaining consensus, and implementing technical solutions for software development projects across multiple teams
· Ability to engage with stakeholders, understanding context and requirements, from diverse areas of a business including Product Management, Service Design, and Operations.
· Using written, verbal, and visual communication to explain complex topics concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
· Designing and implementing solutions using service and event-based architectures
· Incrementally replacing enterprise legacy systems
· Working in Agile delivery models
