Are you experienced in Risk Management?
ASA Recruitment are looking to source an experienced Risk Manager to support a large Scottish public sector inquiry. This long term contract role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area, to work on a hybrid basis.
If you started in this role today you would be…
- Monitoring risk by managing an accurate and up-to-date strategic risk register, working closely with the Senior Management and Leadership teams and risk owners to prevent risks occurring
- Ownership of the maintenance and development of the Inquiry’s assurance and controls measures
- Creating and collating agendas and papers for governance and assurance meetings, minute taking and leading on certain agenda items and chairing the meeting when required
- Maintaining a Register of Interests spreadsheet to ensure any potential conflicting interests are captured and recorded when new people join the Inquiry
So, what are we looking for?
- Ability to give advice on risk management to senior stakeholders
- Applies risk management principles to decision making and controls opportunities and threats to achieving objectives
- Use evidence to assess, measure and evaluate projects and policies, considering the impact on other policies
- Experience of managing assurance, business continuity, controls and risk
