Description

ASA are currently recruiting for a Lead Housing Support Manager to work in Kirkcaldy, Fife. This position is initially for 3 months with the opportunity to become a permanent role for the right candidate.
The overall aim of the service is to end homelessness across Fife by taking preventative action and through assisting people to choose the life they aspire to. The team endeavours to promote self-valuing, inclusion and wellbeing for all.
This post has team management, safeguarding and quality assurance responsibilities. The post holder is expected to demonstrate proactive, value-based leadership and keep abreast of sector issues and developments which impact on people affected by homelessness and service delivery.
The post holder will have direct management responsibility for the delivery of Short-term Housing Support (STHS) across area teams and monitoring responsibility for the maintenance and improvement of practice, ensuring compliancy with regulators and funder requirements.
Regular working office hours Monday to Friday totalling 36 hours per week. Hourly pay rate of £17.25

The following attributes are essential for this role

Experience
· Experience of leading and directing service operations within a changing environment
· Evidence of building positive relations and managing conflict
· Experience in staff supervision and/or managing project teams
· Previous experience in housing, homelessness or a social care setting.

Qualifications
· Current registration with the SSSC and hold a recognised qualification at SVQ 3 or equivalent
· Current PVG Check
· Evidence of training or equivalent in Office 365 packages e.g Word, Excel, Power Point,

Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
· Knowledge of housing, health and homelessness
· Skills in administration, work planning
· Resilience and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
· Ability to manage and motivate teams to work collaboratively and embrace inclusion to achieve client outcomes
· Ability to apply policy and regulatory directives to meet standards
· Valid UK driving License
