Support Worker – All over Fife – areas including Kennoway, Glenrothes and Dunfermline
A good Support Worker will have a positive energy about them. They will walk into a room with a smile on their face and radiate a can-do attitude. A positive attitude will help put your service users at ease – as well as helping you feel more confident in what you are doing.
ASA are currently recruiting for people that can put smiles on vulnerable adult’s faces who are now in supported living facilities.
We have opportunities for the right person’s to work in homes all over Fife, where you will become part of a team supporting and helping residents to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
Both full-time and part-time work is available putting you in control of your work life balance. Shifts can range from day shifts and back shifts or alternative shorter shifts are available. This is entirely flexible so you can choose your working hours to suit your work/life balance.
Temporary roles are an excellent way to level up in your career or to make a quick return to work. Given that you have some experience, a temp role will provide you with a range of new contacts and experience. All temporary roles have the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
About the role
As a Support Worker, you will be a key member of the team, providing:
· High standards of support to our customers
· A creative and caring approach
· Be able to provide encouragement and support to live as independently as possible
· Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, this requires an energetic and outgoing person.
· You should have excellent communication skills and be flexible and empathetic.
What your role will include
· Assisting adults with personal care
· Assist with all aspects of daily tasks
· Promoting independent living where possible
· Duties may also include outings and day trips.
