Are you experienced in Research and looking for a new challenge?
ASA Recruitment are looking to source a Research Support Officer to support a large Scottish public sector inquiry. This long term contract role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area, to work on a hybrid basis.
If you started in this role today you would be…
- Support the internal research and analysis team to plan and execute a series of report publications
- Support the day-to-day research and analysis elements of the project, including research analysis, design, ethics and peer review, data protection and other considerations
- Employ qualitative analysis tools, such as NVivo, to support the ongoing analysis and outputs of the listening project
- You will support and participate in the facilitation of in-person events, fieldwork activities, supporting the engagement feedback loop to ensure meaningful participation in the listening project and the Inquiry
So, what are we looking for?
- Knowledge and experience of applying a range of social research methods to address research questions
- The ability to critically evaluate data and other research evidence with accuracy and perception to meet the needs of research users
- The ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) on complex issues
- Experience of planning, reviewing and prioritising work and resources to deliver results
