Do you have experience in stockroom management?
ASA recruitment are looking to source an experienced Stockroom Manager to manage the stockroom for a large public sector organisation.
The role is based in central Edinburgh, so suitable for those within an easy commute-able distance.
If you started in this role today, you would…
· Be responsible for the management of the stockroom
· Control the stock level, operate the stock counts and communicate with the relevant departments regarding stocking levels
· You will also become confident in all areas of the stockroom including scanning, tagging and sorting stock, picking orders and loading orders for dispatch
What would make you successful in this role?
· Experience in stockroom and warehouse operations management
· Experience in the use of MS office and stock control
· Strong understanding of “stock control” methodology and processing
· Previous experience in managing and developing a team
