Are you an HR Adviser looking for a new challenge in 2023?

ASA Recruitment are working with a large Scottish University to source a highly experienced Human Resources Adviser. This role is suitable for candidates based in the Glasgow area.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Advise and support on a broad range of HR issues, particularly in relation to employee relations issues such as discipline, grievance, performance management, Dignity and Respect, pay and reward, absence management, redundancy and restructuring/right-sizing
• Work independently, relying on personal expertise to propose and develop bespoke HR initiatives to meet the business’ needs and enhance performance at individual and organisational level
• Manage and participate in the efficient and effective application of HR resourcing procedures and systems, delivering high quality and high volume staff recruitment, selection and contract administration activities
• Through involvement in recruitment activities and re-grading/promotion procedures, ensure the integrity of the University’s staff grading decisions and that transparency can be demonstrated and equal pay principles satisfied

So, what are we looking for?

• CIPD qualified
• Extensive track record of working in HR at a professional level
• Track record of successfully and independently handling an HR case work portfolio, including disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings, harassment allegations etc.
• Ability to successfully adopt a consultancy style, HR business partnering approach, with proven analytical and independent problem-solving ability
