ASA Recruitment are working with a large Scottish public sector Inquiry to recruit an experienced Administrative Assistant. This role is suitable for candidates based in the Edinburgh area.
If you started in this role today you would…
- Work across the Inquiry, supporting its smooth running through the completion of a range of administrative tasks including finance, delivery of oral hearings, and office management support
- General administrative support to the Inquiry, for example, covering reception, monitoring shared mailboxes, and ensuring that office supplies are maintained
- Covering reception, monitoring shared mailboxes, and taking regular stock of office supplies to ensure they are maintained and reordered as needed
- Book travel and accommodations, dispense rail tickets, keep records up-to-date, and filing as required
So, what are we looking for?
- Strong administration experience
- Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to think logically
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and plan workload in a fast paced environment
