Are you an Azure data solutions expert?

ASA Recruitment are working with Scotland’s largest public sector client to source an experienced Head of Data. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Getting in at the ground level of a large programme that will be built on the cloud and provide a platform for future innovation in the sector for years to come
• Leading on the approach to designing data solutions, implementations and mitigation of risks
• Feeding into programme technology roadmaps and target architectures, contributing to architectural principles, guidelines and standards for the programme
• Working with colleagues to ensure the organisations digital programme aligns with the organisations current and future business visions and goals

So, what are we looking for?

• Azure data solutions expertise, ideally with experience of other hyperscale cloud platforms
• Transactional schema design
• Data warehouse concepts, design, and implementation
• ETL tooling and solution design, e.g. SSIS, Data Factory or similar
