Substantial experience supporting volunteers or working as a volunteer?
Experience of working with people with disabilities or complex needs?
Working knowledge or personal experience of care and social work services?

ASA are currently working with a public sector body to recruit an Involvement Co-ordinator, to support the work of the Involvement and Equalities Team within the organisation. Our client are operating a hybrid working model, to meet business needs attendance will be expected at their Dundee based office when required.
Working hours are normally Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 but there may be an occasional need to work evenings, to meet the needs of volunteers as part of a flexible working arrangement. Some travel within Scotland may be required.

In this role you will…
· Work as part of a team of established Involvement Co-ordinators
· Be part of a project to advertise, recruit, interview and train volunteers
· Embody the values of the organisation – Equality, Fairness and Person Centred. These are crucial to supporting involved people

What it takes to be successful…
· Working knowledge of care services and social issues relating to disability, ageing, children and young people
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to apply different approached to communication when required
· Ability to think widely and innovatively in the development and delivery of services
· Ability to plan workload effectively in the short, medium and longer term in conjunction with others
