Looking to get started in the IT Sector?

ASA Recruitment are looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst to support Scotland’s largest public sector client. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt to work on a hybrid basis.

If you started in this role today you would…

  • Provide 1st line diagnosis and ‘quick fix’ resolutions where appropriate within the 5 minute call time frame before assigning to the appropriate 1st or 2nd line team to progress when required
  • Application support for Office 365, MS Exchange Online, MS Teams accounts, OneDrive, Android, iOS, cloud technologies and more
  • Respond to Priority 1 and Priority 2 telephone calls from customers within 5 rings of being assigned through the contact centre client
  • Advise customers of current service issues relating to the availability of local services

So, what are we looking for?

  • Experience of working with an IT Service Desk or similar ITIL support role
  • Excellent customer care, communication skills and telephone manner
  • Experience of troubleshooting Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Office 365 apps
  • Experience of supporting Android and iOS devices
