ASA are working with our Aberdeen based client to recruit for an Accommodation Unit Officer, to support the Senior Accommodation Unit Officer and the team in providing safe and secure accommodation to people experiencing homelessness. Would be suitable for those living in Aberdeen and surrounding areas
In this role you will…
· Assist in ensuring that accommodation is available to meet the needs of customers
· Assist in ensuring that effective financial and accommodation recording systems are developed and maintained
· Liaise effectively with internal colleagues, Building Services and external agencies
· Assist in ensuring that customers are supported and provided with up to date advice/information
· Ensure customers are assessed within organisation and external standards
To be successful in this role, you will…
· Have the ability to form, develop, sustain and maintain relationships with customers
· Have the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own and use own initiative
· Have the ability to write reports and letters
· Have an understanding of legislation relating to the provision of Housing, Homelessness and Housing Support
· Have a high level of organisation and time management skills
