We are currently recruiting for General Assistants to help support our clients’ needs across various sites in Aberdeen in the healthcare sector. Work available across week days and weekends with typical shift times being 0800-1530, 0800-1800 or sometimes 0800-2000 depending on the particular site.

What does being a General Assistant involve?

• Maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the building

• General cleaning of residents’ rooms and communal areas

• Safe use of appropriate chemicals and products for the job while following all COSHH guidelines
• Accurate recording on cleaning schedules
• Communicating with the team and other members of staff

Who is the ideal candidate?

It is essential that applicants have existing experience cleaning in a healthcare setting whether this be care home, rehabilitation centre, hospital or similar. We are looking for someone that is reliable and hard working with a keen eye for detail. You should have good time keeping skills to be able to complete all tasks within the shift timeframe. A PVG for adults is beneficial for this role in order to open most shift opportunities. Shifts without PVG certificate in place are available but limited.

What is on offer?

Our current pay rate for a General Assistant ranges from £10.90 per hour for week day shifts to £15.19 per hour for weekend shifts paid weekly. We have experienced consultants available 7 days per week for dedicated support should you need it.
