Are you an experienced Software Developer looking for a new challenge within Scotland’s largest Public Sector client?

ASA are pleased to be working with the Scottish Government to help source a highly capable and enthusiastic Developer based in the Central belt of Scotland.

If you started in this role toy would be responsible for…

* Maintaining and on-boarding the new ROD submission service to use the central cloud
archive for long term document storage and retrieval with additional support for
virus scanning.
* Providing additional search features for the LR Archive service to support Advance
Notice land registration documents.
* Providing LR Archive API integration to ensure digital discharge and data
amendment documents are added to the new archive.
* Updating LR Archive UI to allow users to search and view digital discharge and data
amendment documents

As well as
* the Continued development and support of document management and archiving
products in line with the domain product and architecture roadmaps.
* Demonstrating excellent, sustainable, and collaborative software development
practice that’s focused on delivering highly readable, maintainable, and
appropriate artefacts.
* Actively participate in all team events, leading where specialist knowledge is
required and supporting the team to improve their process through inspection and
adaptation.
* Troubleshooting and fixing development and production problems across multiple
environments and operating platforms.
* Engaging with the wider RoS communities of practice and interest to share
knowledge, technique, and experience.
* Coaching and mentor other members of staff and advise on team and organisational
training requirements.

o S3 (access monitoring)
o API Gateway
o CloudWatch/X-ray alerting & monitoring integration
o Aurora Serverless
* Java
* Spring
* Python
* TypeScript
* Modern JavaScript UI frameworks, including React/Angular
* Testing frameworks, including Cypress/React testing library
* HTML/CSS
* OpenSearch
* Postgres
