Are you an experienced Care Assistant looking to make the move to a more senior position?

We are currently recruiting for a Care Supervisor to work with one of our established clients in Laurencekirk Aberdeenshire. This is a temporary position predominantly covering nights however does have the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. As the Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for the general supervision of care provision to residents at the home. You will be proactive in ensuring that quality care is provided to all residents through the direct monitoring and influencing of staff performance and by acting as an excellent role model.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervising the daily working practices of staff to ensure that a high standard of resident care is being delivered
· Liaising with the manager on a daily basis and communicating with staff at all levels including external professionals
· Liaising with other supervisors to ensure all support plans are current, meet individual resident needs and are reviewed on a regularly
· Taking charge of the floor ensuring that resident’ personal care needs are met
· Undertake general care work and personal care if appropriate.
· Administering prescribed medication and maintaining the necessary records
· Reporting immediately to the Home Manager, any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred by a Resident, colleague, self or another

We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and is keen to progress within the industry and take on greater responsibilities. Some other essential requirements for applicants include:
* SVQ 3
* High levels of organisation and communication
* Existing supervisory skills and ability to work on own initiative
* Strong understanding of GDPR and confidentiality
* PVG and SSSC membership
