Description

ASA are excited to be recruiting for a Catering Services Officer based in central Inverness. This is a full time, temporary position starting ASAP for 6 months with an option to extend for an additional period pending review 1st April 2023. In this role you will; provide effective and efficient management of high-quality catering services. This will include developing the ambiance and use of public space within the site in collaboration with tenants and other stakeholders. You will represent the client’s site and become the point of contact for tenants and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
· Supporting operation of the catering facility to include the management of bookings for and the use of the pop-up food and drink unit
· Ensuring the provision of a quality catering service in compliance with all Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation and regulations and carried out within budget allocation
· Managing all human resource issues including recruitment, training, absence management, disciplinary and grievance in accordance with company policies and procedures
· Developing and delivering a Food & Drink based Events Programme in collaboration with tenants
· Using the management information system to provide data on performance measures and monitoring on a regular basis to management.
· Ensuring efficient and effective use of all materials, assets and energy
· Participating in team meetings and lead team briefing sessions and stakeholder meetings

In order to be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely, applicants will be expected to provide evidence of the following:
· Extensive management and supervisory experience specific to the catering industry
· Experience in developing effective customer relationships and consistently delivering excellent customer services
· Food Safety experience/qualification and relevant Health & Safety knowledge
· Self-motivated with ability to produce results under pressure while keeping to programmes and budgets
· Ability to review customer needs and identify opportunities to develop and expand the service, in an innovative manner
· Good written, numerical and communication skills, along with experience of report writing

Please note a basic disclosure is also required for this position.

ASA can offer pay rate of £18.12 per hour for this position which is paid weekly and you will also accrue holiday pay from your very first shift.
