Are you an experienced Finance Manager?

ASA Recruitment are working with a large Scottish housing association to recruit a highly experienced and qualified Finance Manager. This role is suitable for candidates based in the Glasgow and Lanarkshire area.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Lead on all aspects of finance, risk and financial governance, this position will allow for the development and oversight on all finance and be responsible for the delivery of fully audited statutory accounts
• Report regularly to the Chief Executive, Corporate Services Director and appropriate Sub Committee on the Accounting policies, practices and procedures with a view to enhancing business efficiency and promoting sound financial management
• Developing borrowing and investment strategies within the context of an overall Treasury Management Policy, minimising risk to tenants, publicly funded assets, Committee and Staff
• Assisting in the planning and controlling of finances by means of an Internal Management Plan (or Business Plan), a Budget and input into the capital programme, with detailed proposals for Risk Assessments and analysis relating to the capital programme

So, what are we looking for?

• Professional CCAB Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAS, CA)
• Experience in a senior finance management role
• Experience of working with statutory and regulatory bodies/agencies
• Understanding of business planning and risk management
