Carbon and Energy Management Opportunity!

ASA Recruitment are working with a core Scottish blue light service to recruit an experienced Carbon & Energy Officer. This role is suitable for candidates based anywhere in Scotland

If you started in this role today you would…

• Develop and implement energy/carbon strategies and action plans that support the delivery of the service’s net zero carbon target, monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of these strategies, including progress reports
• Production and management of the organisations Carbon Management Plan and identifying and developing appropriate projects for inclusion, overseeing their implementation and assessing performance
• Coordinating all aspects of carbon management, energy conservation and renewable energy
• Auditing, analysing and reporting energy and carbon performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies, producing and monitoring relevant key performance indicators

So, what are we looking for?

• Experience of working in a carbon and energy management
• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject
• Experienced in statutory compliance in relation environmental/energy legislation and directives
• Experienced in procuring and managing all types of energy, and engineering/construction contracts
