Are you a highly experienced Project Manager?

ASA Recruitment are working with Scotland’s largest public sector client to source a Senior PMO Project Lead for their benefits and welfare division. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Leading and driving all PPM activities for service areas – adding value at all points to ensure high quality outputs and alignment to agreed programme standards
• Line management and task management for a team of Project Lead and Support Officers, including building PPM capability within the team through structured and informal development activity
• Develop a robust understanding of the delivery area you are aligned to, in order to ensure support functions are fit for purpose and align to programme standards, prioritising activity according to programme needs
• Work collaboratively and build strong relationships with service area leads and with local support team colleagues to drive consistency and sharing of best practice

So, what are we looking for?

• Proven track record in providing quality PPM functions to support delivery, including setting priorities for yourself and others, within a formal project or programme environment
• Ability to collate, organise, analyse and use information to plan and deliver services and improvements in a change environment
• Experience of supporting, providing guidance to and maintaining the governance and plans for, large, complex business and technical projects using recognised project management methodologies such as Agile and Prince 2
