ASA currently have multiple cook vacancies based in local schools across Aberdeen. All positions are ongoing temporary work however do have the potential to become permanent with the client directly. The roles are typically term time only, however do occasionally request cover during the holidays. For these positions we are looking for someone who can be a team player and take on delegated tasks from the cook in charge as well as work to their own initiative when required. You must be reliable as this is an essential role in the smooth running of the kitchen.

In the role of Cook you will;
· Confidently know your way round a kitchen and able to support the cook in charge
· Be preparing and serving meals according to set menus
· Work to any specified dietary requirements
· Correctly label and store items in the fridge/freezer
· Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen

If interested in this role you should;
· Have Food Hygiene and Allergens Certificates
· Hold a current PVG Certificate or be willing to obtain one
· Be able to provide two references for previous work

ASA can offer pay rates of £11.24 for this position which is paid weekly. We can also offer you additionally accrued holiday pay from your very first shift. Working with ASA is a fantastic opportunity to build up experience with different clients and make connections for future work opportunities.
