ASA Recruitment are recruiting for Porters within the North Lanarkshire area for a prestigous public sector client

These are the main duties & responsibilities of the role

· Patrol areas within the site ensuring that all windows & doors are secured and taking appropriate action if necessary
· Patrolling parking lot and identifying any vehicles which are parked in the incorrect places
· Assisting staff in movement of patients within site using appropriate equipment when necessary
· Collection of waste and disposal in the appropriate area
· Ensure items are signed for whilst being collected & delivered

Essential Skills:

· Effective written and verbal communication
· Ability to work within a team
· Ability to work within a busy & demanding environment
· Working knowledge of basic information technology
· Carry out assigned tasks in a timely manner

Desirable Skills:

· Previous experience of portering whilst working in a healthcare environment
· Knowledge of Health and Safety and ability to do risk assessments

This would also involve multiple different shift patterns
