ASA Recruitment are working alongside a popular Glasgow college to source a Foundation Apprenticeship Officer, this role is suitable for candidates based in Glasgow and the surrounding area.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Assist in the management of the recruitment and administration of the annual Foundation Apprenticeship and Senior Phase programmes
• Assist the Workforce Development Manager, Student Experience Directorate and Faculties to maximise funding opportunities to, and participation rates, in the college Developing the Young Workforce strategies and initiatives
• Identify and engage with local employers to secure their engagement and participation in College course delivery, including offering work placements for College learners
• Conduct participant induction, initiate and maintain student records, hold participant progress reviews and provide feedback to College staff, the participant and employers

So, what are we looking for?

• Proven experience working within a busy student support environment
• Proven knowledge of Foundation Apprenticeships or SDS National Training Programmes
• Proven knowledge of working with National Training Programmes
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with individuals
