ASA are working with a public sector education body to recruit a Research & Knowledge Exchange Administrator, to provide support and guidance for broad range of the School’s research and knowledge exchange activities by advising and supporting academic staff with the submission of research and knowledge exchange grant applications. This position is based in the EH8 area of Edinburgh with hybrid working available.
In this role you will:
· Support grant applications
· Provide post-award administration support
· Coordinate the administration of the research leave cycle
· Contribute to the School’s social media presence and research communication activities
· Support the Early Career Researcher Network and Research Assistant Pool
What it takes to be successful:
· Educated to at least N/SVQ 3 or equivalent
· Typically at least 2 years relevant administrative experience in a similar environment
· Strong IT skills, and the ability to learn how to use a range of new packages
· High degree of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail (particularly in maintaining financial data and assisting in costing activities)
· Ability to quickly learn and master new processes
