Are you an experienced security guard looking for your next opportunity?

ASA is looking for a Security Officer to immediately join our public service client organisation to safeguard their headquarters building on a 365/24/7 basis. The role is centred on a rotational shift pattern between early, back and night shifts.

If you started in this role today, you would…

· Control access to the HQ building, verifying the identity of guests using an inbuilt system.
· Regularly patrol the building and its perimeters.
· Secure the building entrances during quieter hours.
· Carefully monitor the CCTV and alarm systems.
· Issue keys as appropriate following required verification and authorisation.

What will you need to succeed in the role?

· A minimum of two standard grades at level 3 or above, including Maths and English/ equivalent relevant experience within a security-related environment,
· Developed customer care skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
· The ability to integrate well into an existing team and work flexibly to meet the team and organisational objectives.
· Experience in people and resource management within an office.
