Reporting to the Catering Manager, the main duties and responsibilities of our available cook vacancies include the delivery of a high standard of food for the premise you are assigned to, as well as for hospitality provisions throughout the building. In addition, you will comply with all Food Hygiene Regulations, ensuring that kitchen and equipment work areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard and that stock and budgets are controlled at all times.

You will be required to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team and possess good relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively. Customer care will be an essential element of all communication.

General responsibilities include:
· Monitoring, controlling and recording of kitchen temperatures.
· Having high standard of hygiene.
· Comply with Health and Safety arrangements in designated areas and across the facility.
· Observe and comply with COSHH, Health and Safety, hygiene and food safety regulations and report any incidents to the relevant team member.
· Ordering and monitoring of ingredients.
· Busy kitchen management.
