Project Support Officers

Are you an experienced project support officer?

If so, ASA recruitment are currently sourcing a contract Project Support Officer to aid an exciting project for a public sector organisation. The role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s central belt, this is a Hybrid working role with occasional travel to offices in Glasgow.

• If you started in this role today you would be… Provide direct support for senior Project Managers to enable delivery of a range of small projects which meet the wider goals of the programme.
• Support with key project management documentation including: project initiation documents, project plans, risk and mitigation logs and on-going monitoring and evaluation
• Assist with scheduling and managing of meetings, stakeholder engagement sessions both internal and external
• You will be involved in multiple projects at any given time and will assist team members as required to ensure projects are being delivered as efficiently as possible

What would make you successful in this role?

• Experienced supporting project delivery, including development, management and maintenance of all project documentation
• Ability to identify and resolve issues, or understand when to escalate for resolution at senior level.
• Able to identify and source relevant information to produce concise, well-structured and accurate written and numerical work.
• Ability to schedule and support the planning of projects using Ms Project
• Ideally possess / be working towards a suitable project management qualification i.e Prince 2, Agile or have experience working within a project support environment
