Are you an experienced Accountant looking for your next role?

ASA Recruitment are working Scotland’s largest public healthcare client to source an experienced Financial Accountant to assist with a busy period. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Provide technical accounting and VAT expertise to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and VAT legislation
• Provide training on adoption and changes to highly complex accounting standards and VAT regulations and the impact on the financial position of the organisation
• Develop and maintain a complex accounting model for a 25 year period for large scale capital property projects financed, ensuring that both the asset and liability are correctly stated
• Lead on the production of the financial statements in the annual accounts, ensuring the appropriate finance information is collated and summarised in line with standards

So, what are we looking for?

• Professionally qualified Accountant with membership of a recognised CCAB body, or part-qualified with extensive experience
• Experience of financial accounting with a good knowledge of accounting standards
• Previous management experience would be advantageous
