Are you an experienced AWS Cloud Architect?

ASA Recruitment are looking to source a highly experienced AWS Cloud Platform Architect to provide consultancy to a large public body. This role is suitable for candidates based anywhere in Scotland.

THIS ROLE SITS OUTSIDE IR35

If you started in this role today you would…

Provide consultancy and hands-on technical leadership to development teams, while ensuring alignment with broader strategic architectural direction
Provide technical leadership to platform development teams ensuring that the technical solutions meet the evolving requirements of the stakeholders of the platform
Identify, agree and lead design of the AWS platform, including CI/CD and Monitoring, Metrics and Logging
Ensure platform meets all the governance requirements and clarify responsibilities for those in accountable roles
Develop and build construct libraries that can be used with AWS CDK as a shared resource
So, what kind of experience are we looking for?

AWS serverless approaches, container orchestration, with a strong CI/CD basis and using native AWS tooling
Use of analysis processes (eg Well-Architected Framework) to identify gaps, plan and deliver improvements
AWS serverless, event-based products
AWS native CI/CD tooling including CDK
Cloud networking, internal and edge
