Sous Chef

Description

ASA are recruiting for a Sous Chef for our client based in Dyce, Aberdeen. There are lots of hours available in this busy hotel including week days and weekends. If you are looking to take the next step in your Chef career this opportunity may be for you! As a Sous Chef we can offer you £15 per hour in this position.

You will be responsible for:
· Contributing to the running of a busy kitchen
· Managing an directing other kitchen staff where necessary
· Playing a key role in producing high quality meals
· Aspects of food preparation as required depending on the role
· Working closely to the menu specs and monitoring portion and waste control
· Cleaning of the kitchen work areas

To be considered for this role you should have:
· Two references for your experience as a chef
· Food Hygiene and allergens certificates
· Ability to work in a busy and fast paced environment
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
