Our ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude along with a keen eye for detail. Great time management is also a must as well as having good communication skills.

ASA Recruitment are looking for catering Assistant to work with our various care environments throughout Fife and its surrounding areas. You will be expected to help around the kitchen by helping prepare meals, keeping the equipment and work surface clean, and helping serve the residents their meals. You’ll be providing a vital service to the care home residents.

Responsibilities include:
· Helping with the preparation and distribution of food.
· Making sure that all kitchen equipment, surfaces, and appliances are clean.
· To be able to use all kitchen equipment and appliances safely.
· Be health and safety aware, and comply with all hygiene and food regulations.
· Set a good example in regards to dress, hygiene, behaviour, and safety awareness.
· Administrative duties including taking deliveries, safety inspections, and maintenance.
Requirements to be considered:
· PVG member or the willingness to apply (applications to be done through ASA Recruitment).
· Food hygiene certificates.
· 6 months catering experience within the United Kingdom.
· Be flexible in regards to the care resident’s preferences.
· Maintain confidentiality.
