ASA Recruitment are looking for a Digital Solutions Developer for our Public Sector client. This is an exciting role being responsible for developing suitable IT/Digital solutions with objectives of being able to connect and leverage data, and streamline work processes across the organisation.
The role will help establish and leverage elements of new cloud capabilities (Azure), as well as the databases up which they operate (SQL or MS Dataverse).
Responsibilities include:
- Interface with stakeholders across the wider business to understand detailed requirements and get feedback throughout solution development.
- Develop digital solutions – e.g. build dashboards using PowerBI (or possibly R/Shiny), business applications using PowerApps, and automate process steps using PowerAutomate.
- Ensure appropriate cyber security controls are in place for all digital solutions.
- Document technical specifications of new solutions.
- User training for new digital solutions.
- Co-ordinate and document user testing prior to launch of any new solution.
Requirements:
- Experience with some or all of the Microsoft Power Platforms suite (PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate)
- Experience building and working with databases (e.g. SQL)
- Develop fit-for-purpose, resilient, scalable and future-proof digital and data services to meet user needs.
- Demonstrable understanding of how to expose data from systems (for example, through APIs), link data from multiple systems and deliver services for business or end users.
- Ability to communicate effectively across organisational, technical and political boundaries, with experience of communicating technical concepts to others that may not have a technical background.
