ASA are currently recruiting for an excellent Home Care Worker opportunity with one of our public sector clients looking for Home Care Workers based in Peterhead. This position will see you covering different routes visiting lots of different clients within their own homes. This is a great opportunity for those experienced in care to try something new and expand your skills within the industry. Majority of the work carried out will be on a lone working, 1-1 basis.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is committed to their job with a genuine passion to support others in being the best they can be. Preferably you will be familiar with Peterhead and surrounding rural areas due to travel requirements on shift. You must have strong communication skills both written and oral.

Responsibilities Include:
· Keeping to a time schedule visiting each property on your rota
· Ensuring the highest level of person centred care is provided at every visit
· Support in daily tasks whether it be a part of morning or evening routines
· Personal care when required
· Assisting with medication if and when required

Requirements:
To apply for this role you must hold a current driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. Walking routes or use of public transport will not be considered. Experience in home care would be beneficial but not essential. You must have a PVG and SSSC membership and be confident with the responsibility of working on a 1-1 basis.
