Are you an Operations or Business Manager looking for a new challenge?

ASA Recruitment are working with one of Scotland’s largest public clients to recruit a Head of Operations to oversee a team in a growing public inquiry. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Lead on various aspects of the Inquiry’s functioning including procurement processes, finance, data protection and other critical issues
• Contribute to the development of a flexible organisational structure which is efficient and proportionate, and responds to the demands of the anticipated timescale
• Effectively manage and develop the Inquiry’s programme of procurement ensuring that procurement processes run efficiently
• Oversee the Inquiry’s finance systems and processes and input into regular financial reporting
• Oversee the Inquiry’s data protection, other policies and risk management

So, what are we looking for?

• Operations/business management experience
• Experience in areas such as procurement, finance and data protection
• Ability to effectively manage members of staff
• Public sector experience would be highly advantageous
