About the Client
This local authority school and nursery is situated in the Blackburn area of AB21 and is a large part of the community it serves. It is a modern, two-storey building with 16 classrooms as well as a library, gym hall and other extracurricular spaces.

Your Opportunity:
This position as a cleaner will see you working Monday to Friday during term time either 6am-8am or 3.30pm-6.30pm. You will be working in a team carrying out cleaning duties as required across the school premises.

Our ideal candidate is a hardworking and reliable team player. You should be a good communicator and confident in cleaning with ability to use your own initiative to work individually.

Responsibilities Include:
· Following a cleaning schedule for duties on shift.
· Routine cleaning of classrooms, halls and other areas on the school premises.
· Wipe down of surfaces and touch points.
· Sweeping, mopping and hoovering of floors.
· Cleaning of bathrooms.
· Monitoring levels of products used and refilling ad necessary.

Requirements:
Applicants must have a PVG for Children or be willing to obtain prior to employment. Knowledge of COSSH and use of cleaning products required and experience using mechanical cleaning equipment beneficial. You must be able to commit to work in the Blackburn, AB21 area of Aberdeenshire.
