Are you a qualified Financial Accountant looking to get into the Public Sector?

ASA Recruitment are teaming up with Scotland’s largest Public Sector client to source a qualified and highly capable Finance Manager to aid the delivery of the annual accounts. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Supporting the preparation and delivery of the annual accounts
• Managing and supporting finance colleagues to ensure delivery of the team’s priorities, including driving improvements in balance sheet controls and processes
• Co-ordinating external audit activities and preparing the required schedules for consolidated annual accounts
• Reviewing processes and capabilities, seeking opportunities to improve effectiveness and understanding of the annual accounts and audit processes

So, what are we looking for?

• You will be a professionally qualified Financial Accountant with membership of a recognised CCAB body (eg. ICAEW, ACCA)
• Experience of preparing annual accounts
• Experience of leading financial teams effectively
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check will be required
