ASA Recruitment are working alongside Scotland’s biggest Public Sector client to source a highly capable Assistant Finance Manager to support the preparation of budgets and annual accounts. This role is suitable for candidates based in Scotland’s Central Belt.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Supporting budget setting, monthly corporate budget management and reporting for portfolios, ensuring consistency with other budget review exercises
• Aiding with the preparation and delivery of the annual accounts
• Ensuring that the financial reporting systems support the timely completion of financial management reporting, ensuring all reconciliations and other key controls are up to date
• Supporting administration and development of the financial management systems, reporting applications and processes

So, what are we looking for?

• You will be a part-qualified Financial Accountant with membership of a recognised CCAB body (eg. ICAEW, ACCA)
• Experience of delivering financial management outcomes in a complex environment
• Practical knowledge of using information from financial management systems and reporting tools
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check will be required
