Are you an experienced IT Support professional looking for a new challenge in the Energy sector?

ASA Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced second line IT Systems Engineer for a permanent position with a rapidly expanding client in the exciting Energy sector. This hybrid role is suitable for candidates based within travelling distance to Aberdeen.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Responsible for providing primary first and second line IT support to local and international offices as well as remote users
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems, software, networks, printers, scanners and applications
• Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
• Talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of problems and helping to set up systems or resolve issues
• Sourcing and procuring relevant hardware and software for business and obtaining quotes for approval by IT Manager

So, what are we looking for?

• Preferably qualified in Computing Studies or equivalent
• A working knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly Windows
• Experience of installing IT hardware and software
• Experience of network and server infrastructure management and support would be advantageous
