Are you a Project Manager looking for a new challenge under the Scottish Procurement Framework/Public Sector?

ASA Recruitment are working with to source an experienced Project Manager to be based at their Paisley Campus. This temporary contract would suit candidates from the Glasgow, Renfrewshire or Central Belt area.

If you started this role today you would be ………

• Managing the transformation of the catering service across 3 campuses (Paisley, Clydebank & Greenock).
• Leading a multi-disciplined project team to deliver the transformation (who all have jobs).
• Decommissioning the existing kitchens and moving to a term-time café style service.
• Working with students and staff to understand their requirements from a catering facility, giving consideration to appropriate pricing and menus, being fully aware of student budgets and ensuring healthy food options.
• Introducing a point of sale system, arranging and upskilling of staff.
• Working with the estates team to implement redesigned and enhanced student areas where students can eat, study and socialise with other students.
• Stakeholder management of Project Sponsor (Vice Principal, Operations), Project Team (including Student President and staff Trade Union representatives) and key members of Senior Management Team.

So what are we looking for?

• Qualified to SCQF Level 9 (or equivalent) Qualification or certification in Project Management.
• Successful management of projects working to tight timescales and fixed budgets, excellent communication and organisational skills along with the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to allocate work, prioritise tasks and to come up with innovative and creative solutions.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office and Project Management Software.
• Catering experience would be an advantage but not essential.
• Candidate requires to have a PVG Certificate.
