Are you an experienced Technical Safety Engineer looking to find your next challenge in one of Scotland’s fastest expanding markets?

ASA Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Safety engineer for a hybrid home/office contract position within the ever expanding and exciting Energy Sector.

This role would see the successful candidate…

• Working as part of an engineering team, to produce and support the production of various safety engineering design deliverables. The Safety Engineer has a support accountability for ensuring that designs meet project requirements. Execute all Survey activities (Concept, Front End Engineering Development, Technical Study & Detailed Design)
• Execute general safety engineering activities (Concept, Front End Engineering Development, Technical Study & Detailed Design)
• Prepare safety engineering documentation from agreed work scopes
• Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.

So, what are we looking for?

• Safety Engineering / Safety and Reliability experience (Energy Sector preferred but not essential) in delivery of Engineering projects.
• Experience in the production of Safety Engineering studies to support an holistic case for safety at plant/site/installation.
• Conversant in HAZOP/HAZID Processes
