Are you an experienced Web Content Editor looking to work in the Public Sector?

ASA Recruitment are working with a large client in the education sector to source an experienced Web Content Editor to assist the team on a temporary basis, this role is suitable for candidates based anywhere in Scotland.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Improving and developing the existing web estate by publishing content according to general client procedures
• Ensuring that all content is compliant with usability and accessibility standards
• Adding metadata to content components while locating and editing web links within a content management system including checking broken links
• Working on a transformation programme including the transfer of existing content to new wireframes, developing new pages and supporting the audit of the existing corporate site

So, what are we looking for?

• Experience of working with a content management system (CMS) including using HTML and search engine optimisation (SEO) to produce online content
• Experience of developing and publishing web content using a user-centred design approach and impeccable spelling and grammar
• High attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously
• Experience of using Umbraco as a CMS would be advantageous
• This role will require Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance so current proof of clearance would be highly advantageous
